On the palate: blackberries, subtle baking spices, luxardo cherries, espresso and dark earth. Grainy tannins are perceived on cheeks and gums. Long, dry finish of blackberries, amaro bitters and earth. |

The lush palate includes flavors of black cherry/currant/raspberry along with savory herbs and dark chocolate. Beautiful mineral note on the extremely long finish. An Iron fist in a velvet glove :) Dark berries, blackberries and plums, but fantastic tannins that still carry this wine. Will continue to develop, but is already perfect now with 1 - 2 hours in the carafe. |
